“Rebecca Rusch is relentlessly fast racing a bike, but before she became one of the world's greatest endurance athletes, she was a normal person like you or me, just tougher and more determined. Known as the Queen of Pain for her incredible perseverance, Rusch's story can inspire anyone to discover their own greatness.”

“I have always been fascinated by those who operate on the edge, push the envelope, redefine sports and industries. I wanted to visually portray the beauty and intensity of athletes while answering the question "WHY"? My criteria: They needed to be the best in the world at what they do. They needed to be true role models/heroes – no ego and just simply fantastic people. Rebecca fulfilled the requirements in spades!”
