Being an Aspen Leaf in My Next Life.

Glorious! I just spent a few days in the Rocky Mountains experiencing the change of seasonal colors and the sound of the last flutters of the aspen leaves before they tumble to the end of their lives.

I want my last days on earth to be a kaleidoscope of bursting, abundant color. I hope human aging can start resembling what we see in the autumn with aspens.

But, it’s not just the panoply of pigmentation that inspires me. A group of aspen trees is considered a singular organism with the main life force underground in the extensive root system. Oh, how I wish humans could emulate a stand of aspen trees.

We have so much to learn from nature. Here’s my brief video rumination amongst the aspen.
