Arrivals.

You came frozen brittle Punched and pinched from the cold Washed by a strange wind To the warm Baja shore.

And the sun kissed you
And the moon bathed you
And the tight held flower inside you
Opened each day and night.

And you sang a blossom song
And you laughed and loved and cried
And you found the human being
You knew you had inside.

Jeff Hamaoui is one of the MEA partners and the Chief Education & Innovation Officer and greets Arrivals regularly while helping them develop their “humaning” skills over the course of a week’s workshop. He’s also a budding poet writing a new poem each day.
