So, this is how my mind works sometimes. This morning I walked into the elevator after my dawn walk, and like every morning, the voice in my condo elevator says, “going up,” which sounded an awful lot like “growing up.” This got me thinking. What if growing up was like ascending a very tall building?
I had a call on Sunday with my 28-year friend, Tim, who told me the “glow-up” time of his life was when he was 22-years-old. I had no idea what he was talking about so he gave me the Millennial slang definition of “glowing up”: “A major and impressive transformation in appearance, talent, power such that you’re so alive and looking good that you’re glowing.”
Whether you are growing up, “glowing up,” growing old or growing whole, I hope you’ll enjoy my musing in the form of this brief early morning video.
