Learning how to love digital.

Mid-March of last year, I had to do the unthinkable...I had to learn how to love digital. The world had completely changed. And like many of you, I needed to figure out how to leverage new tools in a brand new world.

Not only that, but the programming and community we had spent the last two years developing on our Baja campus was in jeopardy, and we needed to re-imagine our operation to thrive during COVID.

Being the technophobe that I am, my skepticism was high and I wasn’t all that confident that we could translate the magic of our Baja workshops into a digital experience. Yet, with so many still unable to travel, we had a responsibility to respond to our community who were asking us to offer our programs remotely.

Fortunately, I know MEA alum Kari Henley, a specialist in developing transformative experiences that aren’t always dependent on physical human interaction. Kari is a master chef, taking inventory of the ingredients that make our Baja programs so successful and baking them in a slightly different way to create a program that helps us all explore our unique wisdom at midlife in this new distance-learning world.

We’ve integrated our proven tools and practices developed on campus with new proprietary content that translates beautifully in a digital environment to help you explore what’s next and navigate midlife’s most common transitions.

So, while it took a lot of convincing for me to warm up to the idea of an online MEA program, I’m glad I didn’t let the discomfort stop me from exploring what has now developed into a program we’re extremely proud of. We’ve worked tremendously hard to navigate the pandemic while finding ways to support our community, and we’ve been blown away by the response from our very happy beta students from this past fall.

Here’s a quick 3-minute chat with Kari, MEA Online’s Director, where we dig a bit deeper into the concepts of digital intimacy and transitional intelligence that lead to such a transformative learning experience in our newest program: Your Roadmap to Navigating Midlife Transitions.

Class begins Feb 27th so you still have a couple of weeks to enroll. We’ve also extended our early bird discount to ensure our community has ample chance to get a seat before we fill up.

Use code MEADDX during checkout to receive your discount. Hope to see you there!
