Maria Bello

Maria Bello is a versatile American actress and producer known for her diverse body of work across film and television. She has since showcased her talent in a wide array of movies, from Coyote Ugly to A History of Violence and Prisoners, as well as TV roles on shows such as ER and Beef. Bello’s ability to portray complex characters has earned her critical acclaim, including two Golden Globe nominations.

She has also ventured into producing, with projects like The Woman King, and wrote the 2015 memoir, Whatever . . . Love Is Love: Questioning the Labels We Give Ourselves. 

Maria has worked for women’s rights and empowerment for 27 years. In 2009, she was listed as one of Variety Magazine’s most powerful women in Hollywood for her activism with the women in Darfur. She proudly serves as the Vital Voices Global Ambassador for Women, and the Goodwill Ambassador for the Women in Haiti, and also works as a member of the Clinton Global Initiative on gender policy within the Haiti network.
