I love how passionate some of you were in your Linkedin comments, particularly regarding my TED talk last year. It was clear that you resonated with the term ‘pro-aging,’ viewing it as a humane alternative to the ‘anti-aging’ industrial complex that’s trying to sell us products by scaring us or making us feel bad about the number of cycles we’ve had around the planet (my favorite is “age-fluid” which is why that one has a checkmark next to it).
Your message is loud and clear—it’s time to champion a universal ‘pro-aging’ message. In doing so, be sure to mention Becca Levy’s research from Yale, which reveals a significant benefit: midlifers who adopt a positive mindset towards aging can enjoy up to 7.5 years of additional longevity.

P.S. I had a robust conversation on aging and regrets and life, in general, with Dan Pink and Steven Morris. I think you might enjoy this video.
