Seth Godin and Chip Conley: You’re Invited to our 40-Year Reunion Tomorrow.

I’ve got Godin goosebumps. That’s also how I felt in 1982 when I met Seth for the first time as the two youngest members of our Stanford Business School class. We were the brash upstarts of our class who got restless in lectures, especially from professors who’d never run a business and our older classmates who thought we never should have been admitted at age 21.

Near the end of our two-year program, we started writing a book together called “Business Rules of Thumb” that has a grand total of one Amazon review. Since then, Seth has written 22 books (I’ve written 5). He’s written more than 8,000 daily blog posts (this is #809 for me over the past 2+ years). And, he started his online altMBA school three years before I started our Baja-based MEA. Clearly, I’m a slacker and an imitator!

We’re going to spend an hour tomorrow riffing with each other and answering your questions. Our primary topic will be why the Great Resignation is really a Great Awakening and what it means for you (by the way, November’s numbers are in and set a record for the largest number of Americans resigning from their jobs ever, surpassing the prior three months which had all set records). We’ll talk about Transitions, Purpose, and even why “Purple Cows” are Seth’s favorite animal (I feel honored that he featured me in that book).

Join me and one of the world’s greatest marketing gurus and business prognosticators. It’s sure to be an animated conversation tomorrow. Register for the free event here.
