At this retreat, couples will have the opportunity to deepen their Relational Self-Awareness. Relational self-awareness is an ongoing curious and compassionate relationship with oneself that serves as the foundation for a happy and healthy intimate relationship. Couples will learn how to shift from an individualistic, linear, view of their relationship to a systemic and relational view. This shift creates new possibilities for connection and closeness. Without the ability to understand each partner’s midlife experience, it risks being a time of disconnection, disengagement, and misunderstanding, versus it being a time of empathy and curiosity and deep sense of relational purpose.
Is this for you?
Whether you are decades into your relationship or beginning again at midlife, you and your partner will have the opportunity to understand yourselves, and each other, more deeply.
Dr. Alexandra has spent the last 25 years helping couples at all stages of relationship development create shame and blame free spaces to understand and transform patterns that are keeping them from experiencing the kind of closeness and emotional safety that they crave.
